Welcome on board the frigate Shtandart! Here, you can really travel 300 years back in time and experience what it was like to be an 18th century sailor.
The frigate Shtandart is an exact copy of the ship built by Peter the Great in 1703 for the defence of St. Petersburg. The modern Shtandart, built in 1999, is an active sail training ship. Today, anyone can become a member of the friendly crew of the Shtandart, dive into living history, learn new skills, and test themselves in sea sailing conditions. Sailing on this historic wooden frigate is an exciting adventure, allowing you to immerse yourself in the atmosphere of a bygone era, have new, unique experiences, and meet interesting, passionate people. Everyone on board becomes an active participant in the ship’s life and operation.
