While staying in port, Shtandart operates as the museum of maritime life aboard the 18th-century frigate. We invite you to discover the everyday life of the sailors!

On this private tour, you will see the Shtandart’s living and navigation spaces, learn about the history of the original ship and about the replica construction, understand the ins and outs of a ship’s square rigging sails, laugh at the captivating stories of the Shtandart crew members and more!

  • Shtandart is the exact replica that was built using authentic materials, methods, and techniques of the Peter the Great era.
  • The interior of the ship is characteristic of the time, carvings and decorative details are all hand-made, following the original designs and patterns of 18th-century crafts.
  • Modern equipment and functional elements are fully concealed.
  • Guns and artillery equipment, buckets and carpenter tools, hammocks, and other items onboard were carefully recreated to accurately represent that historical era.
