She’s back in the water! After weeks of hard work, Shtandart is finally out of dry dock—stronger, refreshed, and more beautiful than ever! Seeing her ready to sail again is a moment of pure joy. But this wouldn’t have been possible without an incredible crew of volunteers who poured their time, skills, and energy into making it happen. To every single person who helped—THANK YOU! Whether you wielded a paintbrush, handled repairs, cooked meals, or just kept the spirit high—you are the heart and soul of Shtandart.
The total repair costs amounted to just over €21,500. These works were essential for maritime safety and the long-term preservation of the hull. Thanks to donations from friends and supporters, we managed to raise €7,500 before the repairs, but it is not enough. Where the funds were spent:
– Docking fees – €3,900
– Metalwork & welding – €3,100
– Mechanical spare parts – €3,630
– Paint – €4,500
– Essential materials (oakum, resin, fastenings) – €1,960
– Scaffolding rental – €1,060
– Electricity – €500
– Crew meals during dry dock – €2,900
Shtandart has always been more than just a ship—she’s a community, a family, a living piece of history. And right now, she’s staying afloat thanks to the dedication of volunteers and the generosity of supporters like you.If you love this ship, if you believe in her mission of bringing people together through adventure and history, please consider donating. Every bit helps, and every donation keeps the dream alive.
Let’s together keep Shtandart sailing —because she’s not just a ship, she’s OUR DREAM of FREEDOM!
With gratitude and hope,
The Shtandart Crew
