On February 1, we set sail for a day with students from the maritime lyceum in La Rochelle (Lycée Maritime et Aquacole de La Rochelle). Some of them are already our old friends, having been on short trips aboard our ship, while others have assisted in repairing the frigate and participated in long sea voyages on the Standart.
Together, we practiced basic maneuvers and thoroughly examined the intricacies of controlling a ship with square sails.
It’s been a while since we’ve had such a large and well-coordinated team! It was a fantastic experience, and we hope to embark on more sea adventures together in the future!
