Well-known to the people of La Rochelle who welcomed it this winter, the frigate Shtandart will depart from the port of La Rochelle at the end of February towards new horizons. During the winter months, the most adventurous visitors enjoyed day trips at sea aboard this magnificent sailboat. As for other curious individuals or history enthusiasts, they had the opportunity to discover or rediscover this exact replica of an 18th-century historical ship. This true sailing museum will set sail towards Spain and Morocco on February 25 before returning to France. Join as a deckhand heading south! The frigate’s crew is international, multilingual, and very welcoming. Everyone can take part in the adventure aboard the Shtandart, regardless of age, athletic abilities, or maritime experience.
On May 1, the ship will be back in La Rochelle to conduct a training sea trip with deaf children. Shtandart will then sail towards tall ship festivals, fulfilling its primary mission: making sailing travel accessible to everyone!
