Sailing in November

We watched the Vendée Globe and went back to sea. We practiced maneuvers and even managed to celebrate three birthdays in a single day! Next, we set course for Arcachon, known for its oyster farms and a stunning 3-kilometer-long sand dune, where we dropped anchor. We spent half a day walking along the shore before heading back to sea.

We were incredibly lucky with the weather in the second half of November.  It was sunny nearly the entire week, and the wind conditions were good enough. And now we are in La Rochelle: a storm is approaching, and we were allowed to take shelter in the port.
