The MOR GLAZ Association: The hunt for the unarmed frigate resumes — let’s stop being ridiculous!

The MOR GLAZ Association calls on the Maritime Authorities and government administrations to show a bit of common sense! It is much easier to sanction the SHTANDART than to prevent certain dealings with the Russian Federation — all while burying our heads in the sand and plugging our ears, even the big ones!

If all ship inspections were as “zealous” as the one applied to the SHTANDART, there would be far fewer dangerous ships and illegal activities on the oceans!

According to the MOR GLAZ Association: “France’s enemies are elsewhere. This vessel — so closely monitored, listened to, searched, and controlled — cannot be the covert agent of Russia that some claim it to be.”

“If a ceremonial replica of Tsar Peter the Great’s Russian frigate frightens France, then we really ought to be worried!”

The MOR GLAZ Association stands by its position: this ship is no longer Russian — just take the time to read our statements and publications, all available online since June 2024 at www.morglaz.org!

By defending this ship, we defend the rights of the sailors and trainees aboard this harmless vessel. During the Semaine du Golfe a few weeks ago, there was no disturbance to public order or national security.

There seems to be a relentless campaign by a few individuals against Captain Vladimir Martus — it would be interesting to know what’s really going on behind the scenes.
