We practiced maneuvers and even managed to celebrate three birthdays in a single day! Next, we set course for Arcachon, known for its oyster farms and a stunning 3-kilometer-long sand dune, where we dropped anchor. We spent half a day walking along the shore before heading back to sea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We were incredibly lucky with the weather in the second half of November.\u00a0 It was sunny nearly the entire week, and the wind conditions were good enough.
