All people involved are physically based aboard the ship, and all decisions regarding its operation, direction, and activities are made on board. The captain and builder who resides on the ship full-time, leads the crew in the decision-making process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Experienced naval officers and shipbuilders dedicate their time and effort to teaching and training new sailors and thus preserving maritime heritage and providing unique educational opportunities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since 2009, the ship has been traveling all over Europe without a home port, taking on board volunteers and trainees from all over the world.
